Linen Texture

When you enable linen texture on your game, all applicable items in your game from your cards to your box to your game board will get our professional linen texture.  This finish is available with or without the  UV coating (but the UV coating really makes it pop).

**Note:  Linen texture does not work well with dry erase markers, as the marker residue will get caught in the texture.

You can add linen texture to your game for $.25 per component sheet.  To do so, visit the Make tab in your game and enable linen texture under the Surfacing section.

If you enable linen texture, every printed item in your game will receive the linen texture except:

  • Blank stock components*
  • Bi-fold game boards**
  • Booklets
  • Documents
  • Play Money
  • Quad-fold game boards**
  • Six-fold game boards**
  • Medium six-fold game boards**
  • Score Pads
  • Neoprene mats
  • Engraved and Printed dice
  • Printed Meeples
  • Acrylic Shapes
  • Mint Tin
  • Poker Booster Pack
  • Poker Envelope
  • Clear Euro poker cards
  • Folios
  • The pages of perfect bound books (only the covers will be textured)
  • The paper pages of coil books (only the covers and mat/cardstock pages will be textured)
  • Prototype boxes (small, medium, or large)

*Please note that any blank stock items that you add to the Stock Components section of your game will not have the linen texture.

**While you can add linen texture to foil cards, this makes them much more prone to scratching, so we do NOT recommend linen texture for foil cards.

***Linen texture is selected separately under the "Surface Treatment" options for bi-fold, quad-fold, six-fold, and medium six-fold game boards.  There is an additional charge to have this finish added to one of these boards, beyond the charge for linen finish for any other eligible components in the game.  This texture will have a slightly different appearance than that for any other components.
