Archiving a Game
We offer a feature that allows you to archive your games. Why would you want to archive a game? Doing this removes the games from your main list on the My Games page, which means that your list will load more quickly and allow you to easily find the games that you still need to access and edit regularly. Archived games are never deleted, and games can be published and continue to accrue sales while archived.
To archive a game, click on the drop-down arrow next to the Edit button and select "Archive" from the list.
Under the Games section of your user account, you'll see a switch at the top of the screen that says "Archived." If you move this switch to the right, you'll see a listing of your archived games.
You can store archived games in specific collections to make them easier to find as a group. From the Edit page of your game, click on "Organization" on the left side of the screen. In the Collection field, you can enter a name for a collection to create that collection and assign your game to it.
Once you've created a collection, the name will be displayed in a box below the Collection field. When you are editing a game and wish to add it to an existing collection, you can simply go to the Organization section and click on the existing collection name.
Now you can search for your games by the specific collection, by clicking on the drop-down box next to the "Collections" field on the Games screen.
Note that all games can be organized by collection, archived or not. Archived games and non-archived games can be added to the same collection. You will only see the archived games in a given collection if the Archived switch is on, and only see the non-archived games in the collection if the Archived switch is off.
