Getting Started with Warehouse

We can handle all of your 3PL / warehousing needs:
- Pallet and bin storage
- Shopify integration (Note: This requires the "Grow" service level or higher through Shopify)
- Inventory management
- Fulfillment via USPS, UPS, and LTL carriers
- Warehouse projects
- Domestic and international shipping (note that you'll get way better international rates by using local fulfillment)
- And more. Just ask about any special needs.
If you'd like to get started with Warehouse, this tutorial is the place to start.
1. Create a new user account https://www.thegamecrafter.com/account on our website and sign in, or login to your existing account.

2. You will need to be a "Designer" to use the Warehouse feature. A regular user can place orders with The Game Crafter to buy our products. A Designer will be able to create or sell things within The Game Crafter Website. If you haven't already, become a Designer here https://www.thegamecrafter.com/make/designers

3. Head over the warehouse https://www.thegamecrafter.com/warehouse page and become a Warehouse Customer. You can always go back and fill in the Address and Packing Slip fields later, or edit them if you need to make any changes.

4a. Create new inventory to upload to The Game Crafter website. This document must be uploaded in csv format. There is an example document to help get you started.

4b. CSV Document help - This is a breakdown of what should be included. Note this is not in csv format.

4c. CSV Document example - This is what your file should look like when you upload it

4d. Double check your uploaded inventory. If everything looks good, "Import Inventory as Products"
5. At this point, a TGC Warehouse Manager will need to approve your product. This process can take up to a few days.
6a. After approval, you should see a couple new tabs on your TGC Designer page with your uploaded inventory listed. The "Warehousing" tab will act as your home page for making any changes, uploading additional new inventory, and starting or viewing warehouse projects.

6b. The other new tab is for linking External Shops, like Shopify. This is an in depth process that has its own separate guide https://help.thegamecrafter.com/article/694-connecting-the-game-crafter-warehouse-to-shopify
7. At this point you're all set up and you can begin creating projects from the Warehousing tab.

Create a "Shipment" to send your items to a customer. There are fields to fill in their information as well as how much of each item to send. The "Description" field is for you to leave any notes to the warehousing team, if necessary. This is the most common type of project you will create. Note if you are picking up locally, there is a Will Call option here.
Create a "Delivery" to send more of your inventory to The Game Crafter. If you have any new games to send us, you will need to upload another CSV for them like you did previously.
Create a "Work Order" for us to do something else with your product in the warehouse. This is a very rare project to create. A warehouse team member will review your work order request and communicate any potential problem areas, if any.
8. Inside an individual project you can review the information you've provided. If there is something you missed or need to correct, there is a comment field which gives you direct access to the Warehouse Team Member fulfilling your order. These are read from the bottom up, so the most recent comment is on top.

9. Bulk Warehouse Order Fulfillment (WOF) is a service we offer that is designed to handle several orders at once, like a Kickstarter fulfillment campaign. This will need to be uploaded in CSV format again. There are fields to enter customer's names, addresses, etc. Be sure the product SKU assigned for the WOF matches the product SKU you provided us EXACTLY, with capital letters and symbols all matching.
10.
The invoices tab will let you track your monthly billing breakdowns with costs for pallet spaces, bin spaces, and individual order fulfillment.
