Safe Search

We've added a self-censorship system to our search engine on The Game Crafter to offer our more sensitive viewers a way to filter things they would rather not see in the search results. You can  modify your safe search settings in your account.  When you do, you'll have options like this:

By default all accounts start with all of these filters enabled. 

When searching on our site, you can see whether safe search is enabled by looking at the top of the search results:

As mentioned earlier, this is a voluntary system. Game designers are encouraged to answer five simple questions as to whether or not their game contains the things you'd like to filter:

Games that have any of the above set to yes will not show up when you enable the respective filters. Also, they cannot participate in site wide promotions such as  Showcase, Social Network Promotion, and Crowd Sales.
